IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following
areas, Bay, Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb,
Midland, Monroe, Oakland, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair,
Tuscola, Washtenaw and Wayne.

* WHEN...Through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- In the last 10 days, most of southeastern Michigan has seen
1.5 to 4.5 inches of rainfall which has saturated soils
before the main spring green up. Several rounds of showers
and thunderstorms are likely tonight and continuing through
Thursday evening. Over this span of time, an additional 1 to
2 inches of rainfall are expected with 3 to 4 inches possible
in some areas dependent on thunderstorm coverage and tracks.

Any training of storms could lead to localized flooding. All of SE MI is under a Flood Watch tonight for locally heavy rainfall.

WHAT There is a marginal risk of severe weather Thursday across the Greater Detroit Metro area. All of SE MI is under a Flood Watch through Thursday evening due to the repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms.
